
Funding Oppurtunities
Overview
Several different funding oppurtunities are available on a competitive basis to individual teachers and groups of teachers in the nine member districts of the The Teacher Center of Central Westchester. The goal of this program is to promote innovation in curriculum and instruction in order to improve student achievement. In the Professional and Curriculum Development program, maximum awards of $2,000, are awarded to teachers to support innovative instructional and curriculum initiatives that have a positive impact on teaching and learning in the classroom. Three (3) School for the Future awards will be given to member schools up to $3,000 for collaborative projects involving faculties and building principals who are seeking to change curriculum or the structure of their schools in order to improve student performance.
